Logistics at APS
“I have an administrative background and I work in the logistics team of the APS Aquitaine site, with three people. Here, we see everything that enters and everything that leaves the company. We are in contact with all the company's functions, each providing us with information on the flow to be dispatched. As soon as the goods are received, we establish the production orders with all the information necessary for the proper handling of the parts. Then everything goes to the workshop and we find the parts after the validation of the quality control. We ship everywhere, mainly in Europe. You have to be dynamic, pay attention to detail and anticipate so that the parts are protected during transport. I love everything about my job because every day is different and we have a lot of contact with carriers and customers. »

Innovation at APS
“I arrived at APS 25 years ago. R&D engineer to begin with, I evolved after 2 years as Aerospace Production Manager then Engineer in charge of Methods and Innovation. Within APS, I have always appreciated the diversity of applications and processes. We work on automotive and aerospace parts as well as on stoves and we can go from coatings that are a thousandth of a millimeter to others that will be several centimeters. Today, I am Director of the Noisiel site. »

Preparation/finishing at APS
Arrived 3 years ago at APS after a training in Architectural Techniques, Nina is in charge of the surface preparation of the parts and their finishing. From degreasing parts to masking, sandblasting, blowing and remasking before spraying, she takes care of your parts with proven technique and flawless precision. Once coated, the parts go back through her expert hands for unmasking and final deburring. She also performs part control operations before or after application in order to meet the sometimes minimal tolerances requested by some customers. No matter how complex the parts, Nina, with the help of her colleagues, has so far always managed to find a solution to mask the areas to be spared. "I'm never bored, it's a very diverse precision work. I like to follow the part from beginning to end, it allows me to see the consequences of my work and to optimize each step. » Thoroughness, versatility and creativity are the essential qualities to achieve the cleanest possible parts that make Nina proud...and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Quality control at APS
Holding a master's degree in materials chemistry, I joined APS recently after an experience as quality control and formulation manager in the lubricants department of a multinational company. I work in the laboratory, starting with the preparation of the coated samples, then analyzing them according to the customer's specifications and dealing with non-conformities. I carry out a wide range of controls: thickness, metallographic structure, traction, hardness, micro-hardness, bending, etc. You must be able to propose new ranges of sample preparation, write analysis reports and carry out projects aimed at improving production performance. Our work is essential to validate the characteristics of the parts before delivery to the customer. It is therefore necessary to be rigorous, efficient and know how to take a step back to provide answers to customers. Adaptability, initiative, autonomy in the organization of tasks, this is what Zaoudjati likes in her daily work.
