Polyamide
A polyamide (PA) is a polymer with both good mechanical and chemical characteristics available in the form of a thermoplastic powder resin.
The properties of polyamide
With good mechanical and chemical characteristics, polyamide (PA) is particularly interesting when looking for atmospheric corrosion protection (good resistance to the salt spray test), electrical insulation properties, resistance to abrasion and chemical attacks. It also has good aesthetic features.
The use of polyamide has increased significantly in recent decades in response to growing demand from the automotive industry, which finds a wide variety of technical applications thanks to the excellent properties of polyamide. The chemical industry, the energy and aeronautics sectors also provide numerous applications for polyamide.
