Flame
Flame spraying is a moderate speed process widely used in certain application areas requiring low cost while tolerating inferior coating quality.

Principles of flame spraying
Flame spraying uses the combustion of a mixture of oxygen and gas to spray the material onto the part to be coated in the form of powder, wire or rods. It is mainly used for certain abradable coatings or metal coatings and their alloys, carbides or even ceramics and polymers.
- Autogenous flame at 2900°C
- Particle speed: 50m/s
